Meet Cristina and Think Bright Education
I’m Cristina, an educator with more than 15 years of teaching and leadership experience in schools across Australia, overseas and within diverse learning settings.
I’m also a step parent to teenagers, tutor, mentor and a trusted adult who genuinely loves working with young people.
In 2025 I founded Think Bright Education to provide personalised online teaching and tutoring for students and families needing extra support. This includes everything from early reading intervention and literacy support for primary school learners with difficulties such as ADHD and dyslexia through to extension work and tailored support for children in non traditional school settings. I also work closely with homeschooling and travelling families who need flexible learning that fits their lifestyle. But my passion lies in helping young people who are struggling with the traditional formal school setting and experiencing school refusal, school can't and emotional based anxiety about school.
I work one on one sessions with students online throughout the week and also offer weekend sessions to suit busy schedules. For some families this means having regular weekly sessions to address challenges such as school refusal or anxiety and get the young people engaged in their own projects. For others it is about ongoing mentoring and building confidence through passion projects and creative learning pathways.
At the heart of my approach is empathy and relationship building.
I connect with each child as a whole person not just a student and focus on supporting their confidence, uncovering the reasons behind their challenges and re engaging them in learning with practical meaningful projects.
Alongside teaching I also offer educational consulting drawing on my experience as an educator , team leader and curriculum designer to help schools and organisations deliver impactful evidence based programs. No matter the context my goal is always the same: to make learning feel safe, empowering and the right fit for everyone involved.
